A few weeks ago, at the YearlyKos Convention in Chicago, we asked activists from around the country to write down one quality or attribute that they would like to see in their next president. Using the words they came up with, and a few of our own, we shot this video recently in Milwaukee.

That is why he is building the "Progressive Patriots" so that he has a fund raising base for a possible future run.

I shook Howard Dean's hand in February of 2003 when he had 50K in his pocket and less than 2 staffers (meaning one staffer, his PR person). He was taking a total leap and then came millimeters from winning the Democratic presidential election.

The nation respects feingold for his ongoing efforts to Censure bush.

he is also a really ethical person.

I'll continue to be angry at Feingold for not making the run now. The Democratic field is so crowded with losers, we needed a winner to run. Running now gives Feingold name recognition.

I'd rather Feingold waits until the moment is right because it'd be a damned shame to have him hobbled by a premature failed bid at the White House. We're not very forgiving of losing candidates, he might not get a second chance. That being said, he hasn't said he wouldn't accept a VP nomination so there's still hope!

There are plenty of potential presidential runs available in Feingold's future. He hasn't excluded the possibility of a VP run. Gore Feingold 2008!!
