On seafloor, oil will not break down for a much longer time and will contaminate the area for a much longer time.

Brilliant! :rofl: I suppose that it is so true that the hard core right does believe that oil goes to heaven. In fact, if you follow their thinking far enough, the oil is more important than the people, so it would make sense that oil would go directly to heaven in the Rapture instead of people in their minds.

7. Really bad luck for Obama

Obama was just there in Panama City saying how clean it is. Two days later plumes of oil are just 40 miles away.

Is someone intentionally sabotaging the President? Who's big idea was it to have Obama put his foot in his mouth, while Petraeus is on news shows doing an end run to stay in Afghanistan longer?

13. On MSNBC's "First Look" this morning (Tues) they

said that cleaning boats were finding oil after BP said the oil was gone. They were told to not report it and alter their logs to say they were just picking up booms. Why didn't the Coast Guard spot this oil? Maybe a better question is: Why didn't they report the oil, unless they were taking orders from BP, too? It was a rhetorical question, no need for an answer.
