| It's a simple question Leader McConnell, how will you pay for the Bush tax cuts? |

| 1. Before the Bush tax cuts 23 million jobs created. |
|
After the Bush tax cuts 15 million jobs lost.
Before the Bush tax cuts. 200 billion surplus.
After the Bush tax cuts.
13 trillion of debt.
Every time the GOP talks about jobs, tax cuts for the rich or the deficit. The Dems should automatically smack them in the head with the these facts.

| 2. Just like Dick Armey. You ever notice how Republicans |
|
always give a stupid laugh or dumber smile when they are called on their BS.
It's amazing. Is it in the genes.

Normally, they just let the Republican ignore the question and recite their talking points that the tax cuts are sacrosanct, and say that they will cut spending without identifying what will be cut.

Not sure who said it, but I read it here on DU. I would love to see somebody ask this human plague the followig question.... If these Tax cuts lead to creation of new jobs, why don't we have new jobs? It is still in action today, right? If so, where are all of these jobs that they claim these tax cuts will create?

|
It's intended to muddy the rhetorical waters and frame the issue. And THAT does work.

|
All he did was avoid the question.
