But to say it has nothing to do with politics is ludicrous. Everything the POTUS does is political in our current adversarial environment.

Maybe it isn't fair, but it's true.

6. A telephone call to congratulate the winners of the World Series

is not political. Every President does it. It's just a traditional thing. To try to link it to any political issue is specious.

It's just another opportunity for you to bash the President. I pointed that out. That is my opinion. Yours may differ.
