1. I haven't watched your video yet

But your subject line reminds me of a post I made a few years ago. I opined that I thought that "economics" should be taught in the philosophy department, instead of the business school. And I still believe that. Nobody really understands that stuff enough to make it a science.

Having not watched your video, my opinion may be wildly contradicted by it, or ignored entirely. That's the internet for you. :)

3. There's a difference between a philosophy and a problem solving technique.

When people turn a philosophy into a deeply held belief, they wil deny evidence that the philosophy has failed. People regurgitate Reaganomic hogwash after we just watched it fail. Right wingers don't have economic problem solving techniques. They have an economic philosophy. Philosophies don't fix things they justify the crap you pull.
