1. For an allegedly experienced hunter, I found Sarah's questions to be suspiciously amateurish: "Does it kick? Should I get him now?"

2. Everybody's whispering, presumably because the caribou might hear. But if their hearing is that good, why didn't it run away from the first few shots?

Apparently , she didn't even bother getting some range time in to bone up on how to her aim (and little things like "how to reload").

She fired like 5-6 shoots before able to kill the Caribou, is it suppose to take that many tries?
When I saw some hunting shows in TV, usually hunters only have one chance, if not, the target will just run away.

Even when you're hunting with a bow and arrow like I used to, you're lucky if the deer doesn't run off after your first shot.

Let's start with the TV aspect- the binocular and sight visual is completely added. The animal presents itself on a horizon twice so the final shot is probably a zoom in with crosshairs added.

Probably editing but she rushes into the first CLEAR shot and then fires all over the place.
The caribou gives two TWO prime shots, on the horizon, at its heart.
I found in my introduction to shooting that breathing was the key. You should suprise yourself with the shot and always fire on the exhale.

The Army is really good at training people to do this. And that is with the higher tech rifles she had as opposed to an issued M16.

Is she really such a diva that she can't do the bolt action by herself? Jesus, it is like putting the transmission in D for crying outloud.
