Caller says 'you're rude' to Michael Savage and he goes BERSERK

I was surfing Youtube and stumbled upon this.

A caller named Janet from New York City: "Hi, how are you doing?"

Michael Savage: "I don't answer those questions. You don't know me; I don't know you; we're not friends, what's on your mind?"

Janet: "You're rude!"

MS: "That's right, I am rude. What else is on your mind?" (silence) "What's the matter, Obama got your tongue?" (silence) "Null. Null and void already. I didn't kiss her behind already. She was stunned. I saw what she was going to do already. I saw what it said on the screen. 'Obama is doing what he promised.' But the minute I didn't lick her boots already, she was stunned."

And then he went on an angry liberal-bashing rant already complaining that liberals and outcome-based education destroyed American universities and says "I'm not a white liberal...you liberal communist bums!" because he thinks that the caller wrongly expected everyone to be nice to her. Golly gee willikers, liberalism is a mental disorder according to a book by Savage, eh? I'm pretty sure that this type of reaction is how normal, socially healthy human beings conduct themselves, I suppose.

Did you find Savage's reaction funny or offensive? I think that Savage deserved to get called "rude" by a caller (who already got past the call screen given how talk shows work) given all the stupid, wrong, bigoted stuff he says regularly. That's why the sensible alternative to Savage is the Thom Hartmann program, which is live on Savage's 12-3PM Eastern time slot on many progressive stations and Ustream.tv/thomhartmann.
