Cheney is out there publicizing his book rather than living out the remainder of his days in prison as he should have. He says that Iraq was "the right thing to do" and claims that we were not mistaken about the WMD. He says that torture was "the right thing to do" and therefore legitimizes actions taken by our government, for which we put people to death at the Nuremberg trials. He profited handsomely off the wars, his old company Halliburton managing to avert ruin due to asbestos suits -- and Cheney was covering his own ass there, too, since the asbestos liability was due to his actions when he was CEO of Halliburton.
