(that's the site description) Also, do realize that VERY FEW people who engage in this "pray the gay away" stuff even if it inflict emotional/physical harm on the gay person will ever spend a second in prison just like those in the federal government authorized to do waterboarding/enhanced interrogation in Guantanamo.

4. Not surprising..........

This is the mantra of the far-right, fundamentalists. They believe they are right in every matter and that whatever misguided understanding they have of what is in the Bible is the inerrant word of God. They place their belief in a non-being above their love for their own children.

How could you not ask yourself the question, "Do I love my son?" " Maybe I need to understand more about homosexuality and understand it in context with what I hear from the pulpit with the findings of science.

Unfortunately they don't want to know anything about science. It scares them. They are cowards before science because it does not confirm what they are told from the pulpit. They are not intelligent discerning individuals that have the ability to distinguish between allegory in the Bible, laws in the Bible that have been repudiated by their own religious sects such as the abomination if you shave your facial hair, etc.

I hope this young man finds his way. There are so many loving people out there that would make him their friend and hopefully at some point their lover and husband. He deserves the promise of a positive and loving life.
