1. Senator Dorgan made a terrific speech against the Repeal and

in the speech preducted much of what has happened as
a result of the repeal.

All Activists everywhere should be aware that the
Republians have promised to repeal Dodd-Frank.

Dodd-Frank is designed to prevent a repeat of the
Financeial Meltdown. The Bankster do not want these
regulations. The Republicans are ready to oblige
if they get power.

6. I'm reading "American Assassination:

The Murder of Paul Wellstone" right now. Hard to believe it's been almost 9 years since I read the alert over the AP, confirming his death. For hours I had been praying that it was all a mix up. He was a wonderful senator who could have been a truely great president.

I'd say "Rest in Peace", but I hope that he haunts us, a benevelent dybbuk with unfinished business we must complete for him.

4. He was so brilliant. Is the Dodd-Frank law the same as what the

Glass-Steagall law was? Is the D-F strong enough? Of course it is a little like closing the barn door after the horse has escaped. They already have their monopoly and the money. Without some kind of redistribution system saying they cannot have any more is not going to help us 99%ers.

8. My understanding is that Dodd-Frank is relatively weak and ineffectual, though better than nothing.
