I am no fan of Dr Cornel... I don't want to watch 12 minutes of him. But just from the title....

.... he is right. "the Rich" were making plenty of dough before the deregulation mania, and they will continue to make a bundle even with sensible regulations. It's that "I could make even more if I didn't pay taxes and can use other people's money in wild speculative ventures while committing fraud on unsuspecting dupes" attitude that is the problem.
