Most of us are in that generation now, united by the successful efforts of the 1% to de-invest us of our retirement savings, our Social Security,our homes, and then there is the "small" matter of the Elite seeing to it that the jobs are overseas.

of the next Age. It's up to each and every one of us to shape it in the way that is beneficial to everyone.
Capitalism is failing, due to its inherent flaw, which assumes that there are infinite resources, on this little planet.
We must realize that there are only finite resources on our planet, and we should share them. We should make sure that there are enough resources for generations to come.
Perhaps if we thought along the lines of sharing with each other instead of being so greedy, things will work out for us, and future generations.

That's the whole point of OWS. It's about everyone who has been affected, or will be affected. Young, middle-aged, elderly. We are all the 99%.

I don't think that the protest movement should be so identified with one age group.

Everyone has a stake and other than NYC I see protesters of all ages.

I think it can lead to the divide and conquer aspect of generationalism not to

mention the dismissal of the movement as a youth thing.

Overall I think this video is, hands down, the most powerful message delivered by Anonymous to date. After seeing this, I have no doubt that they are fully connected and know precisely what to do....genius.

I'm beginning to think that some actual contacts with influential figures who share the same vision have also been made... Behind the scenes.

36. Kaleko, I've thought that from the beginning.

I think there is a split in the forces that have been ruling the world for the past few decades. And that this is a battle between 'good and evil' or 'right and wrong'. Anonymous delivered messages about this movement months ago and weeks ago, when it seemed like it would be a miracle if true, they predicted yesterday's worldwide demonstrations with the date. I will have to find that video again.

I have seen some remarkably beautiful videos done by them and wondered how it would be possible for a group so supposedly disparate to create them. They seem, some of them, to be professional and very mature while using the V concept which is not grasped by the PTBs, but very appealing to the young. As if they want to confuse and distract from whoever they really are. I have wondered about them for a while now.

Whoever they are, I love them! It feels like the people finally have someone on their side for a change. Yesterday I saw their masks on people in cities around the world.

I have a few theories that for now might seem crazy, but there is definitely a huge shift taking place and those in power can't seem to understand it, yet. The downfall of the Murdoch Empire seemed incredible and wouldn't be happening if people in high places could prevent it. He has been a good servant of the Masters of the Universe. A great propagandist for them. I think they are beginning to lose their grip on things but not without help :-)

Not all those who are in the 0.1% are greedy pigs with no conscience. Some are benefactors with a clear future vision.

I bet we're thinking of the some of same people working quietly behind the scenes for this shift.

I have a friend (mid 60s), with nagging health issues that come w/ age. She went to Occupy LA thinking she was going to spend the night. She didn't. She gently complained the next day. I told her to let it go. Our time has passed. We are the supporters now, the cheering section, the advisors, IF we are asked. We spent many hours in the streets demonstrating against stolen elections, 3 wars and inequality. We have registered voters by the hundreds and traveled to other states to help support candidates. We can stop and rest a bit; catch our breath; and enjoy the changes as they happen. I am thrilled by recent developments. The global action was amazing We owe a huge debt to those kids in Egypt and the people of Wisconsin for taking a cue and tailoring it to their own situation. I am in awe and loving it.

55. Foreclosures affect everyone with a domino effect

seniors who lost the value in their homes will have nothing to leave to their children.

people who lost value in their homes or were foreclosed on can no longer send their children to college.

the foreclosures mean a glut of houses on the market, which means the construction industry is idle. That is a huge chunk of our economy that can't work, spend, live.

if you own your home but live in a neighborhood with a lot of foreclosures, you're affected.

generation zero is not just the young, it's anyone and everyone.

44. It is very obvious that there are protesters on this forum who are protesting

the protesters. All this crap about poor B of A and alternative ways is simply a message against the protesters.

It reminds me of the same group that moved in and worked so hard to tell us why the aircraft that Paul Wellstone/family and colleagues were on went down. Ice. They kept it up for days. Even after the it was ruled out by government and airline officials. They never talked about why the FBI was at the scene in a remarkably fast amount of minutes.

I see a little parallel.

We've been down this type of deflection before and with the same amount of tenacity.
