And I haven't seen one yet that justifies teargas or bulldozing tents or stealing protesters' blankets and generators. Not one. These people are entirely peaceful to a remarkable extent.

Even discounting the likelihood of provocateurs, in crowds the size of the protest crowds, it's incredible how restrained everyone is even after they are directly provoked. More and more, I'm starting to believe the intent isn't to prevent violence, or even to clear the streets and stifle dissent. More and more it looks like these tactics are intended to provoke protesters into becoming violent.

Hey, maybe I was wrong about non-violence solving nothing. If they're trying to provoke violence for fear of what non-violence can do, maybe there's hope for us all yet.
