They are much more comfortable inventing fake threats like the Soviet Union, Saddam Husseain, Manuel Noriega et al. That way they can dictate the type of response (Star wars, B1 bombers, etc) and manage the timelines so that they can extract the maximum possible money from the US Treasury.

Global climate change is a huge problem that presents great economic opportunity for true entrepreneurs. But that's not who these people are. These fascists don't actually solve problems. Most of the time, they don't even make things. Their system is predicated on creating phoney threats and then spending our money while telling us they are solving the "problem".

The tip off is when Faux News starts blaming 'terrorists'. Makes me wonder who started the fires?
