They never earn the positions they take. They never work at the positions when they take them. They never work to earn the respect the position they "get" or are "put into" deserves. They never have the qualifications to fill the positions they take(not earn.)

This administration will go down in history as the most ill served executive branch and executive branch appointed positions ever to "serve" this country. I don't think this is any coincidence. When you appoint only your "friends" regardless of their talents and your circle of friends must, due to your own insecurity be more faithful to you than generally intelligent or capable, you create a pool of talent that leads to this mess of historic proportions.

40. We are not in a war zone...

we defeated the Iraqi military and toppled the government. The United States of America is now occupying said country and trying to impose its will and values on the Iraqi people. The one thing Bush* got right is when he declared victory on the aircraft carrier. Of course we did not have enough troops on the ground after the major fighting was over resulting in a civil war within Iraq.

On the other hand there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq just like some of the UN inspectors said prior to the start of the war. Hussein was totally boxed in prior to the invasion. What an unnecessary war and occupation. What a waste of American treasure and blood (Jefferson should be spinning in his grave). Bush* is responsible for trashing the reputation of the USA and changing American values to include torture, approving of spying on American citizens without warrants as required by the Constitution and he has justified kidnapping foreigners in other countries violating numerous treaties we have signed over the years.
