Maddow is leaving the competition behind

Her assessment on the President's accomplishments in the first year was fantastic. Bechloss confirming that it rivaled FDRs.

She is classy, intelligent and has a good perspective that retains both individual opinion and establishes the President's overall contribution.

Obviously there are areas that she wants the President to move on but that does not blind her to the reality that the President faced nor his ability to get things done.

1. I saw her show - I was expecting to see posts rising to the top of the GP!!!

We fought 8 years to have a Democratic President elected. Tonight his first year was rated as perhaps the most successful ever!! I went out to GD & GDP expecting to see this news everywhere - huh? - you mean they're still whining about the tax on healthcare that will affect hardly anybody? :eyes: I think the phrase is "gone to the dogs".

I tuned her out when she was doing the "Obama = Bush" thing and having that turd turley on her show. Glad the first year was judged fairly.

I am glad to see her admit President Obama's undeniably great first year, anyway. She is smart, and she does acknowledge facts here, that can't be ignored.

Rachel does have a track record of sometimes getting caught up in the frenzy of the moment. I don't know how many times she just "knew," during the campaign, that Obama was making a fatal error that would cost him the election. All of which, was off base.
