Edited on Sat Jan-16-10 09:42 PM by WeDidIt
I've got sixteen on mine, not a one has a tombstone.
How about yours? Take a moment to count and check how many have been tombstoned, I recently cleaned six tombstones out of mine.

| 3. I have around 128 (you must not be trying) |
|
and that is because I didn't bother to put any more on today. ;)
I have lost very few off my list over the last two months to the moderators. I don't think there is much hope of these people leaving unless they decide to go so they will remain on my list. This tells you how bad this place has become because with that many people on my list, there were an equal amount if not more on the one thread today attacking the president. Makes you think.

Some of them I had on ignore during the primaries; I cleaned it out after they were over. But it's been filling up again.

on top of it. I just got inspired & checked my ignores for deadwood and found 10 before I got to the 1/2 way mark and then I got bored.
All primaries'..I didn't even recognize most of them.

I'll bet you'll find that many of them have been Tombstoned. I add a 1-2 people to my list nearly every week, but it seems like 1-2 get shown to the exit. So it's kind of like a revolving door.
I have a core of about 15 people - high post counts, so they're not just troll disruptors -- who will probably be on my list permanently.

Sadly no one was tombstoned. I removed about 10 low-post trolls who probably will not be back. I too have a core of high-post people who will not be removed from the ignore list.
on edit: there was one tombstoned person on my ignore list but I found out about her from a post on GD.

And most are because they get stuck on an agenda and can't get off, like posting nonstop gun porn or something.

All of them permanent residents. I cleaned out the temporary "I just can't tolerate this shit right now" list the other day.
I don't generally ignored people I think are cruising for a granite slab. I tend to try to make that happen and so need to see when they do post.

By the way, my Iggy list is not alphabetized, nor is it sorted chronologically. How do I alphabetize the thing so I can more readily check the status of these folks?

I have 54 (after removing 2 that had been tombstoned). I've only added 2-3 in the last couple of days. Things seem fairly tame now and my gut tells me that a number of disruptors have "moved on". BTW, one of those recently TS's was a biggie.

That said I do have 6 on ignore. I don't venture into GD or GD P much these days and usually it's only if I see a post by a BOGer. No one on my ignore list has been tombstoned.
What exactly is that anyway? Is it the same as being banned?

Your posting right are eliminated and, if I remember correctly, you have to create a new account if you wish to continue posting. It's been a while since I took a turn as Moderator -- Kephra was my Co-Moderator, to give you an idea or how long ago that was -- so they may have changed the rules since then.

For the longest time, I would not use the ignore feature. Then I came across an open Ron Paul supporter (I think it was about a year ago) and decided it was the right time to start using it.
