1. Much as I despise Dubya, I think it was a great idea for

Obama to tap him and Prez Clinton for getting more help for Haiti.

And one positive thing I can say about Bush (only one, mind you, among a huge pile of negative things) is that he's kept his mouth shut since he left the WH, unlike Darth Cheney who never misses an opportunity to bash Obama.

3. Okay, I'll try to be nice to dubya now also.

Watching the whole replay of the press conference today with Obama, Clinton and bush I was struck with bush's demeanor. The impression that I got was that bush was like a little boy very happy to be allowed to sit at the big people's table. He just seemed so pleased.

And I think there was only one time he said something negative and once Laura said something negative since they left the WH. (not sure but think that's right) We can't get the one filled with the dark force to shut up.

5. That's the same impression I had of him at the presser.

And you don't have to be nice to him (:) ); I was just giving a bit of credit where I thought credit was due.

As to Cheney, I hope everything he has said (and will say) comes back to bite him in his backside.

7. I can stand Little Boots a lot better when he has no power.

Nobody should ever trust him with it again. Seems to me Clinton is running this alliance between the two of them already, with the kid tagging along for the ride.
