Facebook Group? I'm A Democrat and I'm Not Demoralized

your post gave me the idea that if anyone knows a contact for Dean..we could write him to let him know that we're not "demoralized".

on a regular basis and has to walk back from his own statements. It's something that cost him the nom way back when.

So I'm not surprised he said what he did and we definitely need to write him and tell him we aren't demoralized in the slightest. Unless we come to DU. This place exists to demoralize Democrats, IMO.

send a message to Jim Dean. Is that his son or what. Anyway this is the message I put in, now tell me if I should send it.

Howard Dean does not speak for me and I am not demoralized. Please let him know that I, and others, still support our president and do not appreciate others coming out with statements that hurt him and the Democratic Party.

I counter them every single time with facts and they just stopped. We're still friends and chitty chat about the kids and stuff, I post political stuff, but they don't.

There's that classic rule of the language of politics -- don't use your opponent's words within your own argument. It's like being told, "don't think of an elephant," then that's all one can think of.

Instead of "demoralized," how about using Obama's ralling cry: "Fired Up! Ready to Go!"

I'm a Democrat and I'm fired up! Ready to go!
