I really, REALLY hate this one girl. She smells. She's loud. She's mean. She treats everyone like shit.

But the thing is - Mother loves her. I don't know why, but she does! It annoys the hell out of me because she's constantly telling me to go on a date with her. I don't want to, though. I couldn't tolerate a minute with her.

However, to show my mom, I am so going to marry this girl. I hate her. I don't want to marry her. We're so different in every way. But my mom loves her so much and I think this will stick it to her! Isn't that like the greatest plan in the history of the world?

I'm off to buy the engagement ring! Wish me luck.

You've just broken up with a girl you loved dearly and are now single and looking. You know two girls, one who you like and would go out with and the other who you hate. However, your mother - in your mind - is being way too nice to Mean Girl and her friends (inviting them over to dinner, etc.). You really can't stand this girl and don't want to date her.

You decide to get back at mom by dating the girl you hate to prove how mean she is, instead of just dating the girl you like to prove how nice she is.

Brown = Mean Girl
Coakley = Nice Girl
Democratic Party = Mom
Ted Kennedy = Former Love

The point being, why elect Brown to show the party how bad things *could* be, when you could elect Coakley to show them the kind of leaders you *do* want.
