1. I don't think

I've ever seen Ed be mean the way Rush is. And Ed doesn't seem to put on pompous airs, at least not that I've seen.

2. Most of the time I like Ed, but sometimes he gets a little carried away.

And he isn't always as well-informed as he ought to be. He can deliver a pretty good rant, though, and he's not a vicious asshole like Rush.
