Don't know how long it will last but I was posting in the Main Forums last night and this morning and it was a different place.

It was 99% positive.

What made that happen?

Am I the only one that recognized it?

It was cathartic to have the nasty ol' Republicans and the big bad SCOTUS to beat up on for the moment.

I suspect the snarling impatience is not far behind, but it's nice to see the mood shift right now.

a signal to "be good" last night.

Why else would they back off from doing their ususal stunts?

As much as I want to believe that they were so impressed by the speech they didn't want to say aaything bad.

But I noticed the shift yesterday now that I think about it.

Memo must have said, "wait until I say you can start again."

I noticed quite a few infrequent posters on some of the praise threads of the speech. That makes me think that Obama tapped into
the quiet supporters, the folks (and voters) who WANT to be rallied.

Gotta watch the polls and reactions this week.

A lot os names I didn't recognize were exclaiming praise for the President.

But there were a few of the usual victims .. there too, ludicrously nitpicking..I just hid those threads.
