| Some people actually think the HC bill is EXACTLY what the Industry and Republicans want!!! |
|
(And President Obama is IN ON IT!)
Here's some advice in case you should encounter these creatures:
Do not approach them.
Don't do anything to startle them.
Make no loud noises, no sudden movements.
Don't turn your back on them, but slowly back away nodding your head slowly and smiling.
Once you're far enough away that the threat is gone, alert the authorities (just kidding on this last one).

| 2. They've gone off the deep end after DK's announcement. Nothing left but conspiracy theory. |
|
I've read that his life and family have been threatened, this happened on Air Force one, according to one theory.
I should have suggested this in my OP:
...These creatures are especially dangerous and unpredictable when threatened.

strongly suggested that the President forced him to get on Air Force 1.
My response was that anyone that had a mindset for "NO' certainly would KNOW how to say, NO to the plane ride.

They always get the new guy to do the dirty work.

| 9. I've seen serious claims on DU that Obama and/or Rahm have threatened |
|
him and his family and that's the reason for his change of mind. Scary.

Today was even worse.
His complaint here is 100% about how insurance companies are going to benefit, and 0% about what the bill is going to do to help people.

The industry and the Republicans want NOTHING. They want NOTHING to happen. They like things the way they are now.
So we could pass a bill that put tacks on the chairs of all the CEOs and it would still be a win for us.

Sure, the insurance companies are spending millions on advertising and lobbying that just *pretends* to oppose HCR, maybe hoping that the Democrats will figure out that they are using reverse psychology and will therefore vote against the bill? Or something like that? Reverse reverse psychology?
I'm confused now.
Sometimes teh stoopid is really strong on DU...
