This isn't much, but it is something I felt good about doing this morning. I went to the web site of my local paper, here in Lexington, Kentucky, and voiced support for health care reform and my non-appreciation with our scared, tail between his legs, blue dog Chandler for voting no. I am tired of being marginalized because I am not a Fox News automoton, sick to death of it. It was a very small thing but it is time for the hate-mongers to realize that we exist, even in their midst.

If it's any comfort, I noticed that in my usually 99.9999% RW online newspaper's comment section that there were more than the usual supportive replies (including my own). It seems that quite a few were emboldened by yesterday's results. Of course we were quickly ridiculed, but that's to be expected. Just remember that there are probably far more progressive lurkers than you think.
