Considering my general and pretty much total disgust with the tone of this site over the last 16 months (gee, I wonder what happened 16 months ago??), I was still very much on the fence as to whether I would donate or not and was seriously leaning towards not.

But I was already DYING because I was missing the BOG, AAIG and my peach avatar so much! :rofl:

Thank you truly and sincerely to whoever donated for me. I would really, REALLY appreciate it if you would make yourself known so that I can thank you properly!

7. #23, I know just how you feel. I had been in the same position

not long ago, having given so much to Haiti relief that I just couldn't afford another dime. Plus I had been wondering if donating to DU actually hurt the Dems in some way. Bobbie Jo saw my comment about it and the next thing I knew I had a star. If you can believe it, she even apologized for it in case it embarrassed me in any way. She's a wonderful, loving, generous soul and I just wish there were many more like her in this world of ours.
