4. I didn't even know there was this forum. I wondered where everyone I used to talk to went.

I don't recognize most of the people on the GD: Presidential board anymore.
I consider myself a reasonable person but WTF is going on out there lately? And they are mad at us for overtaking the board? LOL. Only ultra progressives allowed I guess. At this point, DU is going to lose a lot of people. I wonder why I bother anymore.

6. I am actually worried to post anymore. I made two OPS the other day

and all I got was outright hatred. I am actually one of those people willing to say Obama is wrong sometimes, but I have no hatred for him. I do wonder what DU's future is...is it for progressives who hate Dems only? What about the rest of us? Where do we fit in? Perhaps no where. I give it one more month and then I may not be back.

Why are Election Reform, 9/11, I/P and Guns etc. called "the dungeon", but the BOG is elevated to some sort of status that even we aren't aware? Is it really that annoying that a few people still support President Obama? Must we be exterminated before they are 'happy'? (I put 'happy' in quotes for obvious reasons.)

Never thought you'd be interested. I have a lot of posters on ignore so I must be missing the overload of venom which was my intention.

Hopefully there will be a good solution to the hatred overtaking DU that's posting under the guise of "progressive" when it's not even reality based.

19. All the hatred has created the exact opposite of what that crew wants.

I would be more than willing to discuss what I don't like about things Pres Obama has or has not done but the atmosphere of out-right hosility to the man keeps me from saying anything. I don't in any way want to be seen to be like the constant critics or even appear to be on their side or in agreement with them... at all.

We could really get some things accomplished here, imv. Don't have to agree with the Obama Admin on everything..let them know what we don't like and contributions to other orgs like moveon to make sure our Social Security is secure.
