1. A bit concerned for the Prez.

He was clearly not at all happy to be delivering that message. I don't recall ever seeing the veins on his temples being that prominent before. Not that I can blame him for being furious.

When I go to other places besides DU, I find that (non rw) people actually approve of the job the President is doing. Not everybody, but many more than you'd think just hangin' out around here.

7. Doing fine. As the details come out sounds like the compromise is not as bad as we

originally thought. Of course if you read only DU you'd think the president was a right-wing shill but sounds like he may in fact have gotten a lot of long-term stimulus he'd been trying for that the right had been blocking.
