Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama's campaign plans to open a Rapid City office in the coming week.
The candidate's South Dakota campaign manager, Nathan Peterson, says the campaign will open an office in a strip mall in north Rapid City. He says the opening will be followed by meetings with volunteers and the distribution of yard signs and other campaign materials.
Peterson says an Aberdeen campaign office is expected to open around May 1.
An office has been opened in Sioux Falls.
