I have been fortunate. I have not had that problem in either scenario. My friends/family in real life seem to love this President more than ever and my peeps on DU are as sane as ever, even the ones who may not completely agree with the Pres.

I stood shoulder-to-shoulder with some of these folks when we were trying to get Alito blocked. Emotional roller coaster ride, that was.

It was very easy to agree that we hated Cheney & Company, less easy to agree how to move forward. I guess that's progress?

Even GD-P has been nauseating today. I'm feeling rather despondent right now. Not only is our President under constant attack by the Repukes, but now Dems as well. WTF kind of insanity is this?

Yet I still have a hard time believing that anyone who is a real liberal is stupid enough to be duped by the likes of Nordquist, and the teabaggers. Which leads me to think that many of them were Repuks all along.

I hope this is true, because if my party is coming unglued before my eyes we are in for a really ugly time of it in this country.

I cannot even talk to my daughter about Barack any more because she has gone partly over to the other side and she has been a Barack supporter since 2004. My son is still with me, thank heavens.

As for the GD, I refer to it as loony tune ville. and don't go there any more. I have also quit going to the GDP the last few days. My psyche just can't take it any more. I usually stay in the lounge these days, at least we are suppose to be silly there.

There're are a lot of people having problems with the Pres now but I think it will get better. There's growing pains in the country and with Pres Obama..how could there not be after what he inherited?

But, on the bright side..we are the ones and many others who are staying strong with him through the bad times and the good times.
