Can someone please make a 24 hour news network that covers news and not celebrity pablum?
Call it CNN 2 or whatever.
I know that televised media is no substitute for print or even the damned internet in terms of depth and breadth of analysis, but I swear there has to be a market out there for people that would like to see news, REAL NEWS, without covering who's fucking who, who's the baby's daddy this week, the missing white girl of the moment and the latest celebrity personality implosion from Jackson or Hilton. WHO THE FUCK CARES?
Well, obviously a lot of people do because ratings spike and we'll get more an more this crap.
If you've got a spare $150,000,000 call me and we'll start our own network.

The International version of CNN is really good. OK I do not need to know today's weather in Japan but other than weather around the world, the news is really news.
