Have you read Bob Herbert's column about Gary Tyler?

I posted last night about a terrible injustice that has been done to an innocent man. I have been kicking the thread since then but have gotten just 3 responses from DUers. How do I get people to care about the 32 year incarceration of an innocent man? Come on DU, get to work. Read Mr. Herbert's columns about Gary and you will understand the urgency.

It is an awful thing. My husband is working with Joe Allen to shed light on this travesty. Joe got Bob Herbert to write the articles about Gary and we are hoping there will be pressure brought to bear for his release.

but they don't accept it if you don't have a US zip code. I'll see if Amnesty International (to which I belong) has a mechanism for non-Americans to express their views on this.
