| 4. Yes BushCo types, who think it is the end of the world |
|
then they will be lifted to heaven...They will simply disappear!!! So I am thinking if WWWIII is the end of the world, and that results in them leaving us here, it would be great.

|
Personally I don't find the "rapture" in the Bible, but if there was one, robertson, bushco, and all them rw, death penalty, war mongering profiteering, holier than thou evil bastards would definetly be among the "left behind" :grr: :spank:

|
I'll be happy to shoot them myself.
In a way, I'll be doing them a favor- most apocalypse type are people who can't deal with the world anymore.
Go blow up some other world, you wackos! Some of us are using this one!

| 8. Do people have genitalia in heaven? |
|
I mean, these folks are so terrified of sexuality.. one would think that, almost as a favor to them, the Lord would turn them all into smooth-crotched Barbie and Ken dolls.

| 10. terrified of their sexuality? |

The prostitutes in the bible belt wouldn't do so well otherwise. They're just obsessed with the idea of preventing other people from finding out that they are toe tapping, swinging, diapering and paying strange people for sex.

| 13. Oh, they can't stamp it out. That's why it expresses itself in such weird ways. |
|
But generally, they fear sex, they're horribly uptight, and when they get weird it's in ridiculous ways, like in airport bathroom stalls.

| 9. Wouldn't that be the coolest?! I can't wait to see it! |
|
Imagine how awesome a site that would be, seeing people just lifted from their homes and ascending into the clouds like the paper hot-air balloons in those Hummer commercials. I'd pay to see that! And of course, there'd be the added benefit of being rid of them.

A dimension, not only of sight and sound, but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. Next stop, the Twilight Zone!

| 14. Does that mean we heathens get their stuff? Cool! |

I'm of the estranged Catholic persuasion myself, but since Catholics do not believe in the Rapture thing I suppose I'd be left behind, so to speak, on Rapture day, even if I were a member of the church in good standing.
By the way, how do they know they're going to heaven? Isn't there supposed to be something about Satan deceiving the faithful into thinking he's the Second Coming? Wouldn't it be a hoot if they all ended up on the down elevator to eternal damnation?
Sorry about my ignorance. We sort of ignored the Book of Revelations in religion class--it was the 60's you know and we tended to focus on those other teachings--like "Love thy neighbor as thyself" and "Blessed are the peacemakers."
Right now I've got my eye on a nice red '06 F250 diesel with towing package that my fundamentalist neighbor owns. It would be just the thing to tow my horse trailer!
Let's go Rapture!
