Call me cynical (I would) but I'm pretty sure they had a good idea what this guy was like when they started the show. The few times I caught parts of it, he and his gang seemed to be always after some person of color or minority.

I don't doubt that A&E knew exactly what type of creature they signed. The only thing that mattered to them was if they thought they could sell the show and turn a buck on it. Which they have up until this point.

I don't know if this will be enough to lure more advertisers away, but I'd love to see others follow this lead.

Money, or more accurately a lack of it, is the only thing that will cause A&E to actually pull the racist pig off the air.

Like the show's name implies, he's a bounty hunter. It's a reality show. They follow him as he catches criminals and what not.

The issue here is that he was caught on audio tape going on a racist rant, and using the n-word more than once therein.
