then see what they say.
Amy Goodman said an Iranian-American kid volunteered to be the victim in a public demonstration yesterday, then described the experience of his lungs filling with water.
The Bushies like to proclaim their own manhood with a lot of chest-thumping, then the loudest usually avoid the military like the plague, or like the Romney boys and Cheney, simply claim they have ''other priorities.''
Fine. This will take a minute of their time and won't interfere with those other priorities, and give them a chance to prove their beloved leader isn't a war criminal and we are all a bunch of liberal crybabies coddling Third World primitives simply being trained to obey their new masters.

When I was in high school, they taught how important it was to wear seatbelts this way. The DMV had a sled on an angled rail that hit the end at about 5 mph. One at a time we were seatbelted in with a shoulder and lap belt, the sled was released, and we hit the end. The teacher asked if we could have braced ourselves to stay in our seat, but no words were really necessary. After that, I buckle up even if I'm moving my car from one side of the street to the other.
