http://www.atlantawatershortage.com/Lanier at it’s lowest level in 20 years. All-time record coming soon.
November 7th, 2007
Lanier is now at it’s lowest level in more than 21 years, breaking the low set on October 24, 1986.
The all-time record low happened on December 23, 1981 when it was 17 feet below full (around 1054 ft). We’re already pretty close to that, and the Corps expect to drop below that record within the next two weeks.
Given the increased speed with which it’s dropping, I think they’re right.

whatever are they going to do when the spigot runs dry?!
