The folks who are insisting repeatedly that they cannot vote for Clinton no matter what, remind me of the folks in 2000 who couldn't bring themselves to vote for Gore.

It's really no different. You can insist it is 'till the cows come home, but essentially it's the same thing for the same reasons. Do what you gotta do, by all means, but it's sad that some people can't seem to learn.

It's fair to argue that you won't support a candidate to push support to a more acceptable candidate. Let's face it, if the nomination were made by DU Clinton would have no chance (and Kucinich would presumably be the front runner).

When actually faced with Clinton vs. a Republican, knowing what we know now, I suspect many will change their minds.

It seems that we have a choice between a lock step corporate puppet, and HRC. HRC is at least a pro-choice neo-con. That should be enough for Democrats. Lets be a little less evil then the GOP.

The Gore of 2007 is not the Gore of 2000.

Perhaps he was emboldened by the show of strength from the left wing and so removed his Lieberman mantle and started talking about what he cared about.

It's a shame Hillary has learned nothing from 2000.

Corporations wanted Bush over Gore. Now they are OK with Hillary.
Hillary is our best chance of beating the GOP. Either way, we, the progressives, lose.

12. yep. Hold my nose and shed a tear for what could have been. But

it's not me that it will hurt if she wins - it will be the poor soldiers in Iraq and probably by then Iran who we will be disinheriting.
