| Why does the far right hate Hillary so much? |
|
I'm not talking about the progressive left here. But there are many, many Republicans who just absolutely hate her. I would think they would applaud a more moderate Democrat. What is it about her that generates so much hatred from the Republicans? There has to more than just the fact that she's a woman.
BTW, if she is our nominee, I worry that a lot of people will come out to vote for the Repub candidate, just to keep her out of office.

It's the Clinton name for some reason.

given permission to hate. It's part of their psychological makeup. They hated Earl Warren in the 1950s. They hated the Russians in the 60s and 70s. They hated the hippies (still do). They will hate anyone their preachers and pundits identify as useful targets.
Fortunately, they are a minority.

They don't even know. They've been told to hate her and they do.
The GOP thinks that by attacking moderates as being too liberal, the real liberals will be discounted as quacks.

what's not to hate, in their view? They hated the Clintons while Bill was in office and now, it looks like they're back to the White House. The wingers must be having fits.

1) "Uppity" woman living in White House did not fit into narrow conservative 1950's mindset. 2) RW/corporate propaganda over her "socialized medicine" plan.
The rabid hate has always been irrational and may subside with increased familiarity.

| 11. She was married to our Democratic President |
|
when the right wing noise machine came into full force. they're favorite target was the top Democrats. They're also threatened that she actually wanted to be a first lady that was involved and used her mind. They thought she should have baked cookies and talked about her favorite charity, not research and advise on policy.
or to sum it up.... Why does the right wing hate her? B/c Rush Limbaugh, Hannity, et. al. told them to.

You say they hate her so much that if she gets the nomination, people will come out to vote solely to keep her out of office. If she does not get the nomination, the right wing insane will hate her even more intensely for giving them less of an opportunity to hate her intensely. And they will intensely hate whomever does get the nomination for also denying them the opportunity to hate her. In my humble opinion their all consuming hate is irrelevant to democratic party politics.
