Water boarding sounds like a Parker Bros. game.
I suggest EVERYONE here and on the left start calling it what it really is.
Who is with me?

International tribunals sentenced Japanese soldiers to hang. Scroll down for explained photos apparently from Gitmo re sensory deprivation. There's also a piece in my journal regarding torture. -Hoot

| 6. Thousands of soldiers were tried, executed or imprisoned, but more importantly perhaps... |

Japanese war leaders were held accountable, charged under The Potsdam declaration of July 1945, arrested and tried as 'those who had "deceived and misled" the Japanese people into war.'
Twenty-eight high-ranking political and military leaders were indicted on 55 counts of "crimes against peace, conventional war crimes, and crimes against humanity."
"Class A" charges alleging "crimes against peace" were to be brought against Japan's top leaders who had planned and directed the war. Class B and C charges, which could be leveled at Japanese of any rank, covered "conventional war crimes" and "crimes against humanity," respectively.
Seven were executed, sixteen sentenced to life terms, two to lesser terms, two had died, and one was found insane.
Imagine that- High-ranking political and military leaders executed for deceiving and misleading the people into war. Condemned for crimes against peace and humanity and war crimes.
Let the trials begin.
