4. The Art Of The Hunt...

I have an acquaintance who looks like a game show host...6'3, dark hair and more lines than the AT&T San Francisco office. To call him a "Type-A" is an understatement...this guy is always competiting and compulsive. He's very good at business at he is a salesman who can charm or intimidate...and he's always on the prowl. For many years he had a steady relationship, but he still would sneak out and hit a happy hour or some party and end up with some PYT by the end of the night. And, of course, he'd brag to his buddy about his conquests...none ever had a name other than a nationality ("The Mexican, The Asian. I was never too sure what was more satisfying for him...the hunt and capture or bragging about it afterwards.

My last though on the Spitzer mess for now. I could see this guy being very competitive as well...and that he used his buddy's name as a cover, I'll bet his friend was aware of this game and possibly either participated or at least abeted. It was that need to feel virile and getting the attention of a hot woman that has led many a powerful man into thinking with the wrong head. If anything there's a bit of "bragging rights" for using a high-shelf hooker...and, yes, it is a lot cleaner/safer running to someone whose livelyhood depends on her personal health and hygiene as opposed to something one may find in a beer-goggle haze at 2am.
