| Eliot, you couldn't just have had an affair? |
|
Don't get me wrong, I'm not endorsing marital infidelity. But if you really couldn't keep it in your pants, Eliot, you had to go the extra mile and go to an elite call girl service? Being rich and powerful, you couldn't find a hot intern who liked you? I'm not under any illusions that people are perfect, and it would be arguably understandable if you were succumbing to temptation. But you went LOOKING for temptation, you moron, and you committed half a dozen crimes to do it.

| 3. I believe high end professionals are used in these circumstances because they are pros who |
|
understand the deal and can be discreet. Love affairs are high potential for hurt feelings and publicity.

| 5. It's always a risk, but there are ways to minimize them. High end prostitutes have |
|
clients who need secrecy and can afford to buy it. That's a big part of what drives the price up.

|
MANY rich and powerful people whose secrets are - and have been - kept for decades by high priced prostitutes?

PLUS there are all those TAPED conversations if you recall --- ???
I think the only time when these secrets are successfully held is when people are serving under intimidation --- and that is certainly still happening.
And, if you look to some of the behavior patterns of "rich and powerful people" --- and in the main we are talking about MALES, of course --- you will see the use of prostitutes and even some mention of abuse of youths --- but you'll also see long term multi-mistresses ---
LBJ and Poppy being two such cases . . .
In fact, the last I saw a photo of one of Poppy's mistresses she looked like Barbara !!!!

| 11. No matter what happens, there's always the risk of it coming out eventually. |
|
The question somebody like him should be asking is, if it comes out, would I rather the news come out that I cheated on my wife, or that I engaged in two or three federal felonies while cheating on my wife with a high-priced hooker?
Sure, prostitution rings get paid for confidentiality, but at the same time they maintain records that are a ticking time bomb if anyone ever gets busted. In my opinion, six of one, half dozen of the other.

doesn't pay the woman for sex. He pays her to go away and keep her mouth shut.

| 17. Well....the one he "chose" has her photo blasted all over the Intenet |
|
and I think MSNBC was going to interview her this a.m...but I turned it off.
Wonder if this one was a "plant." Part of a sting operation? Maybe someone in the Bush/Cheney Survellance Dept. knew Eliot had a "vulnerability." Wouldn't be the first time...and Eliot had alot of folks in high places on Wall St. gunning for him and in the Repug Party.
Of course he didn't have to "take the bait."

It's one thing to be a sleaze and cheat.
It's another to be a sleaze, cheat, and possibly try to launder money toward a prostitute, both of which are ILLEGAL! He's a freaking dumbass.

He also didn't want to "persuade" or "cajole"; he just wanted a quid pro quo business deal.
