Robert Novak has a brain tumor.
I just heard it on Ed Shultz's show.

How sad. The man is a huge a-hole but I am sad to hear this news.

My son is recovering from a brain tumor operation and I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

1. That could be why he's such an a-hole.
Sometimes a brain tumor can change a person's temperament.

2. I will control in initial impulses and simply say that I pray for quick and painless
end to what has clearly been a very troubled existence.

4. I am sure many won't hold back at all but
This is a problem I wouldn't want my worst enemy to get and Novak comes close to that description.

He can afford the world's best health care.
I'll save my sympathy for the ones with the exact same ailment, and no treatment options at all.

6. I would not wish that on
anyone either, even Novak.

How is your son doing? Last I heard he was well and getting better.

10. He is doing well thanks.
He is still experiencing small seizures but they are to be expected. This week they added a new med to his regular mix in hopes of stopping them. Keeping our fingers crossed. He is registered to return to College in the fall. We remain hopeful.

13. Honestly that sounds good.
That is expected but it sounds like everything is just the usual hit and miss until the meds start to work well together.

I am so glad he is returning to school. Wish him well for me. Good wishes from Kansas.

7. I always figured the tumor was on his soul.
But I'm very sorry to hear of his condition.

No one, no matter how vile, should have to suffer that.

11. Very sad
Perhaps the tumor was the cause of the hit and run. Several here worried that something might be wrong with Bob. There's plenty to dislike Novak about but its sad for this to happen to anybody.

12. Of course he does.
So he skates on all charges.

I don't mean to be insensitive, but I guess I just am in this case.
