| Tonight's debate will focus on 'foreign policy' NOT the economy |
|
Edited on Fri Sep-26-08 02:33 PM by Philosoraptor
According to talking heads on cnn, Rick Sanchez offered that he thought it was incredulous that with our economic situation will not be the main focus of tonight's debate.
NOW we know whey mccain decided to debate tonight, he feels he's got the edge on foreign policy, which he does not.

| 5. So that means they can't talk economics except for subjects like |
|
trade, outsourcing, foreign investment, debt to other nations, the recent statements by various European leaders re: death of Milton Friedman style free market economics, how this all will affect financial arrangements between nations, etc.
Oh ... and how the hell can we possibly afford over $600 Billion in Defense expenditures, sustaining an occupation in Iraq (seperate bill, apparently), and a $700 Billion bail out of the investment class when we can't afford to properly educate our children, repair our bridges, upgrade our power grids, or control cost growth in health care?
All of this affects how one approaches foreign and defense policy. Game on.
