9. I'm not sure how Americans signing a UK petition will help, but this is horrible

I support the use of animals to sniff out explosives, for instance. Yes, there's some danger in that, but normally the handler loves his dog very much.

These dogs, however, are all going to be killed, it seems. That's just wrong.

We know that Dogs are Man's/Woman's/Humans best friends and are used in many capacities to help us. But this I find so outrageous that I have been crying ever since I came across it on an animal site. This petition is going worldwide. Please sign - please.

this isn't exactly new. Dogs have gone to pretty much every major land war in human history.

Doesn't make it right, but this isn't unique.
