Hillary coming to battleground Omaha Tuesday

She and Bill have really helped heal our party. I regret I will be out of town for a class. My test will be on the 30th. I'll be back posting like mad the last few days before the election. I won't know my test results for 3 weeks, and won't be studying.

Hillary Clinton to campaign for Obama in Omaha

Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York has added a political rally to her visit next Tuesday in the Omaha area.

Clinton will hold an afternoon rally on behalf of Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama, said Erin Fitzgerald, Obama's spokeswoman in Omaha.

Fitzgerald said the event will be free and open to the public. She said additional details will be announced in the coming days.

Obama defeated Clinton for the Democratic nomination in the primaries.

Clinton will be the keynote speaker at Lunch for the Girls, the annual fundraiser for Girls Inc. The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Qwest Center Omaha. — Tom Shaw

3. (OT) Lord, I miss Omaha.

-30 degree wind chills. "Car Wash Days." 10-pound snow turds adhering to the fenders of my car. Buying "Udder Ointment" for my hands (it had a happy cow on the label). Climbing under the car to free a frozen accelerator linkage. Skidding across three lanes of traffic in the snow (people there noticed I had Georgia tags, and gave me a wide berth). Aksarben. Nice people, who never failed to notice when I'd drop a "y'all" into a sentence.

As a southern boy, it was the HAPPIEST damned miserable winter I'd spent in my whole life. And still is.:thumbsup:
