I asked DU for some sign advice the other day. I thought i would share the final results of our project.


The pictures are a bit dark but you get the idea.


The entire family got in on the making of it.



After the littler ones went to bed we did some detail work.

She did the projector sketch for us to paint so i wanted to get one with her in it.

That is something that is immeasurable, to be sure.

Sadly, sometimes we get so wrapped up in everyday living, especially these days, that we forget to give our children and ourselves good and positive memories that will last forever.

It looks like an amazing time.

I am also having a tough time keeping my enthusiasm and emotions in check lately. It is hard to separate my hope from all the anxiety i have felt for the past 8 years. Too much has been fretted over, only to be replaced by something larger and more sinister, for way too long. It is time for some bright, positive change.

I cannot wait till bush is nothing more than a little image in some dusty book with a footnote that reads, "Worst President in American History". :bounce:

This project was relatively quick as we used a projector to place a photo of Obama on the board and my daughter drew out the stylized image from it.
