| Anybody else have trouble navigating the Huffington Post? |
|
Edited on Sun Nov-23-08 09:46 PM by Truth Teller
The page displayed is wider then my screen - I have to scroll righ and left to see it all. Also, seems difficult to click on the precise link I want, particularly from the front page.
This has been going on for months.
Anybody else?

I have the same problem, both at home and work.

| 7. It may be the way I have my monitor resolution set. |
|
And I do have a wide screen monitor also. I'm sure that makes a difference.
You might want to drop their web master a note and tell him/her about your problems with the site.

but their site with campaign donations is wrong - both for 2004 and 2008!

| 5. They are probably coding from laptops which |
|
have a wider screen than conventional monitors which accounts for having to scroll from side to side to read it. The slow loading and slow reactions to clicks and slow loading times are probably because they have too much on one page. I don't go there much anymore and I have a cable connection which is fast. I pity the dial-ups.

| 10. It's not speed that's the issue |
|
It's when I try to click on a particular headline - it seems to take me to another page that is a group of stories, not the one I tried to click.

And it's not resolution either. I have a new fast computer, and it is hard to navigate there.

| 11. Do you have the issue with the display not fitting your screen |
|
and having to scroll side to side?

And I have the resolution high so I am not supposed to have to scroll all over the place.

Maybe I'll write the webmaster.
