It was especially sickening during the campaigning, but jeezus h christ, this morning the big headline is Obama and his "smoking addiction".....well maybe he should take the Rash Limpbag path and ask us to pray for him :puke:

Meanwhile, they ignore all the really significant actions he's taking to be prepared to address the huge variety of horrible actions and etc signed by DearLeader and the Minions........

uses terms and phrases that suggest something negative about Obama. Yesterday regarding his smoking they called it an "addiction." Now stated elsewhere it would be meaningless. Stated as a freakin YAHOO headline it is wrong on so many levels. I've written to YAHOO several times and never received a response regarding their bend over Republican bias. Hopefully Google will absorb them in the future and bring it to an end.

media puts alot of money and effort into framing in order to achieve a desired effect on their target audience.

For example, in the case of movies, a director, cinematographer, editors, etc. will use cinematic techniques to lead us to empathize with protagonists and to dislike antagonists. Advertising frames in order to manipulate audience emotions to feel the product will fill created needs fanned by ad production techniques....

I'm not revealing any hidden knowledge here; we here all know about propaganda and psychological manipulation. So, the concern is HOW Yahoo presents Obama and Democratic initiatives.

I almost switch away from them during the campaign because it was so blatant, but their email service has always been very good. My compromise: I use the mail, look at the fashion dos and don'ts pics :P but get my news elsewhere. It's working well.

I work as an IT professional, and at least two or three times a week, my department has to remove the Yahoo toolbar from the machines of field reps who installed it because it breaks a number of security protocols (I'm with a mid size brokerage firm; our internal security has to be very tight.) We are currently discussing blocking all access to the entire Yahoo domain, the problem is really that bad.
