| Is it just me, or was Warren's speech the most hypocritical thing, ever? |
|
:wtf:
Yeah, it's all about tolerance and unity. Right, Rick.
Nothing like those words coming from an anti-choice bigot.
I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the inauguration, though.

He was so damn boring, right from the start, I tuned him out Concentrated on his hair, which really is unfortunate.
He was, ultimately, lost among the real stars at that event - the quartet, Joe Lowery, Aretha. They showed him how it's REALLY done, and now he's just the same old nothing he always was.
Funny how style and quality always stand out, ain't it?

But I do know that it was the sort of self-indulgent tripe I'd hoped had been left behind forever among thinking people. I kept waiting for the stream of "just reallys" to begin, and folks who've had the misfortune to be involved in fundy/evangelical circles will know exactly what I mean.

| 9. Yeah, saying "just really" a lot does NOT equal gravitas. |

The boilerplate grovelling -- we just really... want to... just... PRAISE you Lord. Kissing the Big Guy's ass and judgmental snakes to anyone weaker, such fine models of rectitude.
