I can't even begin to say how much DU means to me.

It got me through the final Bush years. It allowed me to vent my frustrations, and discover others understood.

DU got me through the primaries and the elections, and even those who argued with me and got into the big thick of it with me taught me things.

Breaking news breaks on DU first, it seems. How that happens, I don't know but it does.

The best commentaries are on DU.

DU is an excellent resource for just about anything one could need to know. And if it isn't here, just ask and someone will help you.

Sometimes I have to take a break from DU. As with all good things, moderation is the best policy.

So thanks DU for the laughs. Thanks for the education. Thanks for being that brief glimmer of light and hope in a sometimes dreary day. And thanks to whoever cared enough to give me the hearts. It does make a difference. We are all in this together, and if we stick together we'll make it through OK. :thumbsup:
