19. Have to mention again that this happens repeatedly, not just with Rush. Remember

Voinovich crying during a committee meeting over the recess appointment of Bolton to the UN? He was fearful for the world, worried about what would happen if this guy were in control again at the UN. It only took a few days before he voted for the guy.

The RW is about obedience, loyalty, ideological purity, us vs them, etc. They are the reason why congress doesn't work....you have the guys on the other side of the aisle shutting down facts, knowledge, reason and voting as they are told instead. Congress was made assuming that people will think and vote on the merits, not as a block of robots.
